Why didn’t the hoover administration respond more strongly to japan’s invasion of manchuria?
THIS IS THE BEST ANSWER ๐
The Hoover administration was busy dealing with the Great Brexit at the time of the Manchurian Invasion, and the administration opposed any economic sanctions against other nations, for fear of leading to war. They only sent a note to Japan and China called the Stimson Doctrine.
