CBS All Access is the only way to stream awesome shows like Star Trek: Picard and The good fight. But the streaming platform has experienced its share of technical difficulties.1
Nothing is worse than having an episode of your favorite Star Trek series (I’m a Next generation dude myself) freezes on you. Before you get too frustrated and take a Vulkan shot on your subscription, try the troubleshooting tips in this article.
Troubleshooting CBS All Access
Before moving on to specific error codes, we suggest that you follow these simple steps for any issue you are having while streaming CBS All Access.
CBS All Access troubleshooting tips:
- Check your internet connection. If your network is experiencing disruption due to outside issues, such as network congestion during peak hours, you may need to look for a faster connection.
- Try disconnecting your Wi-Fi router for 30 seconds and then reconnecting it.
- Sign out of your CBS All Access account, then sign back in.
- Delete the CBS All Access app you are using from your device, then download it again and sign in.
- Restart the device you are using.
Status check
There may be times when CBS All Access is just down for the count. You try to watch Discovery of Star Trek and, frankly, Discovery of Star Trek is not available. Usually this is due to server issues with the actual streaming application. The best way to find out about these issues is to Google “CBS All Access Server Issues” and see what happens. UVP error 1011
This error code seems to occur often for CBS All Access users who are using Amazon Fire Stick TV.
The first thing to do if you see UVP 1011 is to restart your device and the app. If that doesn’t work, try clearing cached data in the app.
You can do it by following these steps:
- Go to the Fire TV menu and select the Settings tab.
- Click on Applications.
- In the Manage installed applications sections, click the CBS application.
- Finally, select the Clear cache options, then Clear data.
Error code 60 (too much flow)
If you see error code 60 on your CBS All Access app, you are probably trying to stream content from too many devices at once. CBS All Access limits each account to two simultaneous feeds.
If you don’t know of other devices that are streaming from your account, it might be time to call your family and friends (and maybe your exes) who might have access to your account to see if they are. ‘use.
If you can’t find the culprit, recheck any devices you have that might be logged into your CBS All Access account.
Error code 1001 (ad blocker issue)
If you get error code 1001 while using CBS All Access, your problem can most likely be attributed to an ad blocker. Unfortunately, the only reliable way to start watching again The twilight zone is to disable your ad blocker.
Error code 110
This error code seems to appear recently for some CBS All Access users, and it is likely related to privacy extensions on Chrome and other browsers. Try disabling extensions and add-ons, like Ghostery, and then try again.
If that doesn’t work, you might want to try watching your show on a different browser.
Other problems and error codes
Many Roku users have experienced reading issues on the CBS All Access app. We suggest you consult these forum discussions if you’re having trouble with a Roku device.
If you encounter other error codes, they may be related to your operating system (some Microsoft users have seen error code 3012, for example). Solving these issues is above our pay grade, so to speak. We suggest you contact CBS All Access support at 1-888-274-5343 between 8 a.m. and 2 a.m. (ET).
