SOMEONE ASKED 👇
How many miles can you get out of a Chrysler PT Cruiser?
HERE THE ANSWERS 👇
220,000 or more miles.
Everything major issue would have happened would have happened by now. Since you have properly maintained this car it will last a long time. Cars are designed to last forever with proper maintenance.
The time to get rid of this car is when you are tired of looking at it. You can keep driving it for 3 more years and save 300 a month toward your new car.
I just recently hit 250,000 on my 2003 Cruiser. I drive around 400+ miles each week – half interstate/highway and half in town. I don’t take it easy on the poor car because I’m a bit of an aggressive driver. The water pump went out at about 240,000 miles. The cost was $960 to replace the water pump and timing belt. I replaced the radiator a few thousand miles after that. I was about ready to give up on my Cruiser after spending over $1,000 in less than a year. Then, the cam sensor had to be replaced. But, I’m glad I kept it. It’s been a great car. Things break down on any car. If you maintain it well, fixing things when needed isn’t as bad as making car payments on a different car. And, when you buy used, you are buying a car that will need fixing. With over 250,000 miles on my Cruiser, I’m confident that it will last at least to 300,000 with proper maintenance.
There is no telling how long it will last because it all depends on how hard you drive the car, how good you maintain it, how good the parts were manufactured, and what kind of environment you drive in. The car could last you another 50 miles or it could last you another 100,000 miles there is really no telling how long it will last. It all stands on ifs and maybes.
My Baby has 400,000 miles. I maintain it well. & drive a lot.
