The design and manufacture of the fuselage contemplate multiple measures of safety. For example, the fuselage must have different exits to facilitate the evacuation of the plane in cases of emergency. It must also allow the vehicle to be supplied and inspected.
It is known by the name of wide-body aircraft to one that has two passenger aisles, which is why it is also called double aisle. It is an airliner, that is, it must be operated by an airline and is used for commercial flights hired by private individuals. Among its basic features is a space for the luggage of the customers.
In the case of the double-aisle aircraft, the diameter of its fuselage averages 5.5 meters. In the passenger cabin of most aircraft of this type destined for economy class, the rows of seats have a minimum of seven and a maximum of ten seats, giving the aircraft a ability maximum of between two hundred and six hundred passengers. It is worth mentioning that in a wide-body aircraft it is also possible to transport goods and other goods of a commercial nature, instead of passengers. In fact, both the size and the distribution of the seats and the aisles of the fuselage can vary significantly between one model and another, since they depend on the internal decisions of each business.
These differences can easily be seen when comparing wide-body aircraft designed for flights short with the others: in the former, the density of seats is much higher than in those of long flights, since passengers must spend less time on the plane.
