The concept from Mesopotamia you can mention two different regions. This is the name of the territory that develops between the rivers Euphrates Y Tigris, in Asia, and the area that includes the lands between the rivers Uruguay Y Parana in Argentina.
In the first case, Mesopotamia is in the Near east, also know as Middle east. Covers the land fertile that are next to Euphrates and to Tigris, coinciding with the northeast of Syria and the non-desert parts of Iraq.
